: We do not apply shipping/handling charges to Online, E-mail invoiced(and phone)or US mail orders. The price you see is your final charge. We ship via USPS, they normally can deliver within 3 to 5 days in the lower states. We use bubble envelopes for 75% of our mailings and boxes for the rest. On larger orders or at request, we will insure and ship via UPS or FEDEX at your expense. Once your photos have been received by us, a typical Online order is shipped within 1 to 3 days.

: Sure, we could have bought any E-commerce assistance out there for your Online purchases. We have picked Google Checkout because of their commitments to security with your credit card and I.D. information. All your transactions are secure on their site. We have no privilege to any of your credit information and we think that's great for all. If you have any concerns you can easily check them out with Google.

: It hasn't happened yet, But if you receive goods from us that are of obvious defect or damage simply send them back. We will replace, as well as give an extra goodie, at no charge. You Must Let us know immediately in advance that there is a problem and prior to the return. It will be taken care of.

: This website is geared as an introduction to our service. We do not use a shopping cart because we can offer so much more than what is shown here, as well as the personnel nature of our service. We do offer E-mail invoicing where you can still pay by credit card for up to as many items as you like, or the pricing total of a project, as well as the BuyNow options for 1 or 2 items.

: Yes, we do except checks. We believe most people are honest. If you send your check in the mail along with your photos that you would like scanned and returned. We will process your order as "check has cleared" with no delays. A few bad apples do not spoil the barrel! But, their names and addresses do get published on our "Poo Poo list". Also, If you have purchased from us at least 2 separate times prior, we will be happy to simply bill you at the time of delivery. See, we don't mind receiving checks at all!

: We do not "auto charge" your credit card when submitted to Google Checkout. It is simply "Authorized". When we receive your photos (download or mail)and confirm we can use them, we will then proceed with your order and charge your card. If this takes longer than 7 days you may have to re-submit your order thru Google or e-mail invoice.

: We scan photos on a simple bed scanner. Typical settings would be around 400 dpi and the closest size area to the photo. We will save this raw scan as a customer named .jpg file without any alterations. We will make some crops and size changes, as well as some other technical changes to enhance the machining process later on. A good photo file that is sized at say 6 x 9 or larger and that is at 300 to 400 dpi will easily be under 1mb in size. We generally receive photos in the 100-300kb range of size, and they work fine for most lithophanes. We certainly do not want photos e-mailed to us at 40mb in size (it has happened!).When we receive your photos in the mail they will go into a protective sleeve with your information written on it and returned with your order. You can also take your photos to developers who will scan and maybe e-mail for you.

: We prefer to use the Lighter colored Hardwoods for our "Wall hangings" although more costly and increasingly more difficult to obtain, we find these woods finish out better for our machinings.

: We supply you with the Adams brand suction cups. There made here in the U.S. and they claim to be the best! You should be able to find them everywhere.

: No, we won't replace your light bulb, These are included as a courtesy, if the wire element broke during shipping you will have to pick up another one., We will replace the night light though if it was broken. The Night Lights use a 4 watt night light bulb available everywhere. We don't recommend using the optional 7 watt bulb, they tend to burn a little bright and hot.

: Yes the 31/2 x 4" window hanging will fit in our night light clip as well. The bulb will be more out of center though.

: The "A & B" style night light comes with a factory clip(unless you choose ours) that we attach the Litho-milling to. We use either a clear silicone or "Goop" brand glue, to adhere to it, We recommend when you want to remove the Litho clip from the night light to "Push it off" from the back of the clip. If you push or pull on the Litho you could dis-lodge it from the clip. We want the Litho to be able to come off and not be damaged should this plastic factory clip ever break. These night lights are meant to be used in the top plug of a vertically mounted wall plug using vertical side by side lugs. If you require something different, shoot us an e-mail with your needs and we will be right with you.

: If your wall plug prongs are rotated to horizontal and your using our clip you can simply rotate your Litho 90 or 180 degrees and slip it back in the clip so the view of your art remains as intended.

: The material thickness we use is between 1/8" and 3/8" depending on size and application.Night Lights and window hangings are 1/8". Some areas of these Litho-milling can be only a few thousands of an inch thick, while other areas, can be the full 1/8". This ratio can translate across the different thickness used. Material stability, against temperature and any pressures, increases with thickness, So...Yes, It is not uncommon for 1/8" Litho-window hangings to become somewhat "cupped" while hanging in the window. When inside and outside temperatures become farther apart the material can expand or contract. We think it adds character, but if its a "bug", turn it back around on the suction cup, It can flatten back out. (p.s. do not try to manipulate this material using abrupt (stove/micro/fridge)temp changes..you will ruin it!
